SCOBY Date Balls

These are refined sugar free, blessed with probiotics from your SCOBY, and joined with the healing powers of coconut oil!


  • 1/4 cup coconut oil
  • 1/4-1/2 cup Scoby Pureedepending on how sour you want them
  • 7 pitted datesvary the amount, depending on the sweetness you want
  • 1 teaspoon vanillaor vanilla bean paste!
  • 1/2 cup almonds
  • 1/2 teaspoon Celtic Sea Salt
  • 10 whole almonds(To top your date balls)

  • Using a food processor, blend your SCOBY puree and coconut oil.
  • Add in your dates, vanilla, salt, almonds and blend again. You may need to stop and scrape the bowl a few times to get it fully blended.
  • Once you obtain the consistency you desire (smooth or chunky), scoop with a small cookie scoop or a spoon onto a plate and add one whole almond to the top (for prettiness!)
  • Allow to cool in the fridge to harden for at least an hour and enjoy! You can store in the fridge for 1-2 weeks or in the freezer for several weeks.
