Apple Compote

This simple apple compote tastes like homemade apple pie filling — warm, spiced, and full of cozy comfort. Fresh apples simmer gently with cinnamon, vanilla, and a touch of butter until they’re soft and golden, creating a naturally sweet, caramel-like sauce.
It’s wonderful on its own or spooned over yogurt, oatmeal, pancakes, or kefir. Just let it cool to warm before adding any cultured foods so the probiotics stay alive and thriving. The gentle sweetness of apples paired with cinnamon supports digestion, while the live cultures from yogurt or kefir help your gut flourish.
A wholesome, feel-good recipe that brings comfort and nourishment with every spoonful.
