What is happening day by day

If you’ve ever looked at your kombucha and thought,
“Is this supposed to look like this?” — you’re not alone.

Kombucha changes a lot during fermentation, and sometimes it can look a little strange if you don’t know what’s happening.

But here’s the truth…
most of what you’re seeing is completely normal.

So I wanted to show you something that helps more than anything else —what kombucha actually looks like day by day as it ferments.

When you can see the process, everything starts to make sense.
And instead of worrying, you can relax and let it do what it was designed to do.

Note: I always use a heating belt when I make kombucha because it helps keep the temperature steady, around 75°F. When the temperature is consistent, the fermentation tends to follow a more predictable rhythm each time you brew.
