Product Description

Check out my new Dial-Thermometer Kombucha Heating Belt to brew kombucha! It can also work for Kefir if your home is really cold.

This kombucha heating mat is designed specifically for home brewing. It's sized to fit 1-gallon brewing vessels but can even work around a 1/2-gallon jar.

The temperature range on the belt is 64°- 93 F (18°- 34° C). You can dial in the perfect temperature and monitor your Kombucha's temperature with the included stick-on adhesive thermometer strip.

The ideal temperature range for kombucha should be between 75° and 80° F. If the temperature is too hot or cold, adjust the dial to decrease or increase the heating strip.

MULTIPLE USES – Perfect for Brewing and Heating your Kombucha and even Kefir that needs extra help in cold temperatures.

What You Get:

  • One heat strip with an adjustable temperature dial. 5" X 19"
  • Two heavy-duty rubber bands to easily attach the heating belt to your gallon jar.
  • Instruction Manual
  • Stick on thermometer that attaches to your jar.

For Fermenting Kefir:
If your home is too cold and dropping to the low 60s and 50s, you can also use this for kefir. 68° F is a good temperature for kefir. Kefir is very picky about warmer temperatures, and this is a good temperature that won't kill or damage kefir grains. This will allow it to ferment in 24 hours or less.
