Make a Week of Yogurt in One Batch (Gallon Instant Pot Method)
What if you only had to make yogurt once a week?
I eat a lot of yogurt each week—and it has helped me more than I can tell you.
It’s one of the fastest, easiest meals I rely on, and it’s something I’m teaching in my new GLP-1 course inside my membership.
I need foods that are:
- quick
- nutrient-dense
- high in protein
- and help control blood sugar and cravings
And yogurt does all of that for me.
It’s honestly been life-changing.
I have kefir every morning, but many of my lunches and even dinners include yogurt in some way. It’s become one of my go-to foods because it makes everything so much easier.
I can put together a meal in minutes…and feel completely satisfied.
And because it’s fermented, it’s already partially broken down—so it’s easier to digest and helps my body absorb more nutrients.
But most importantly…
It’s rich in probiotics—those beneficial bacteria that support your gut and play such an important role in your overall health.
In so many ways, they really are the building blocks of life.
🥛 Why I Make a Gallon at a Time

But if I made a big batch—something that lasted the whole week…
It became easy.
Now I make a gallon at a time, and it gives me:
- breakfast or lucnch or dinne ready to go
- snacks I can grab anytime
- something nourishing I can build meals around
It’s one of the simplest habits I’ve ever created…
and it’s one that makes a big difference.
⏰ The Power of a Simple Routine
There’s something powerful about having food already made.
When your yogurt is sitting in the fridge, ready to go…
You’re much more likely to:
- eat something nourishing
- skip processed snacks
- feel satisfied longer
It takes the pressure off.
You’re not starting from scratch every day…you’re just using what you already prepared. And that’s how healthy habits actually stick
Why Homemade Yogurt Feels Different
One of the biggest differences between homemade yogurt and store-bought yogurt is something you can’t see… 👉 the amount of living probiotics.
When you make yogurt at home, it’s fresh and active. During fermentation, beneficial bacteria multiply into the billions per serving, and they’re still alive and working when you eat it.
That matters.
Store-bought yogurt is very different.
Even if it says “live and active cultures,” it’s often:
- fermented for a shorter time
- stored for days or weeks
- losing potency over time
So by the time you eat it, many of those probiotics are no longer as active.
It also often contains:
- gums
- thickeners
- stabilizers
These are added for texture and shelf life—not for nourishment.
Homemade yogurt doesn’t need any of that.
The bacteria do the work naturally—thickening the milk and transforming it into something rich, creamy, and alive.
It’s not just yogurt… it’s a living food your body can truly use.
