Pomegranate Maple Kefir

This is a wonderful way to enjoy kefir around the holidays. Pomegranates may be one of the healthiest fruits you can consume. Pomegranates are rich in vitamins like K, C, and B6, folate and potassium too.
Pomegranates have two polyphenols naturally found in the fruit. Ellagitannins (ETs) and ellagic acid (EA). These polyphenols are converted by the gut microbiome into Urolithin A (UA). This particular postbiotic has been shown to slow down the aging process by increasing mitophagy and reducing inflammation throughout the body.
I really love to have this with Eggnog Easy Kefir. If you haven't tried it, you are missing out. Check out the recipe: Eggnog Easy Kefir
