Water Kefir Margaritas and Strawberry Too

Two different Margaritas for your water kefir. Use good salt, like Celtic Sea Salt, for added minerals. Make sure to use good bottles made for brewing.

Ingredients

Water Kefir Margarita

Frozen Strawberry Water Kefir Margarita

  • 8 ounces Water Kefir margarita
  • 1/2 cup frozen strawberries

Instructions

  • Add lime juice, agave nectar, and salt to a 16-ounce bottle. Fill the rest of the bottle with finished water kefir leaving a small amount of room at the top. Let sit 1-3 days or until bubbly. Check it once a day by opening it and giving it a quick check.
  • When your water kefir is done, dip the rim of your glass in lime juice and then dip it again in a plate sprinkled with Celtic Sea Salt.
  • Pour Margarita Water Kefir into your glass and enjoy!

Frozen Strawberry Water Kefir Margarita

  • Blend Water Kefir Margarita, strawberries, and ice in a blender until slushy and blended.
  • Dip the rim of your glass in lime juice and then dip it again in a plate sprinkled with Celtic Sea Salt.
  • Pour strawberry mixture into your glass and enjoy!

Notes

Note: Place in the refrigerator when done fermenting. Consume within 1 week for optimal flavor and probiotics! Make sure to use good bottles made for brewing.
