Strawberry Yogurt Whey Slushie
This refreshing strawberry yogurt whey slushie is a delicious way to use extra whey from strained yogurt. - 1 cup frozen strawberries
- ½ cup ice
- 1 tablespoon lemon or lime juice
- ½ cup Yogurt whey
- 1-2 tablespoons Honey, maple syrup, or monk fruit, to taste optional
Place all the ingredients in a blender. Blend until thick, smooth, and slushy. You might need to stop and start the blender and stir it to get the frozen ice and berries incorporated.
Add a little more whey if the mixture is too thick. Add more frozen fruit or ice if you would like it thicker. Serve immediately.
