Pineapple Kombucha

Fresh pineapple juice and fruit can ferment too quickly and get a yeasty flavor. Keep an eye on this brew as it can get really fizzy. After you burp your bottle and if it's fizzy place in the fridge immediately. Always use good bottles for brewing.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz. Pineapple Juice Preferably bottled
  • 14 oz. Kombucha plain

Instructions

  • Pour 2 oz. of pineapple juice into a 16 oz bottle.
  • Pour 14 oz. of Plain Kombucha into the rest of bottle leaving a small amount of room (about 1 inch) at the top.
  • Cap your bottle and allow to ferment for 5-10 days.
  • Check it often by opening it to see if it is bubbly.
  • Then refrigerate after it becomes bubbly.

Notes

Always use thick glass bottles made for brewing.
