Rose Kombucha

One of the benefits of rose petals is their high amount of vitamin C. They are known to clear out toxins from the body. They help with digestion and sore throats and they taste wonderful.

Instructions

Rose Syrup

  • Add rose petals, sugar and water to a sauce pan or pot. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and cover. Let simmer for 45 minutes. Let cool.
  • Strain out dried rose petals.

Rose Kombucha

  • Add 2 tablespoons of rose syrup to a 16 ounce bottle.
  • Add plain kombucha, leaving an inch of headspace.
  • Cap off and let sit 7-14 days. (Houses above 70 degrees will take less time.)
  • Once ready, you can drink immediately or store in the refrigerator.
