Beet Kombucha
I love beets and they're an incredible food! Drinking beet juice may help to lower blood pressure in a matter of hours. One study found that drinking one glass of beet juice lowered systolic blood pressure by an average of 4-5 points.
- 1 tablespoon beet juice (freshly juiced)
- 3 tablespoon apple juice
- 14 oz Plain Kombucha
Juice around 1/4-1/2 red beet using a juicer or a garlic press.
Add beet juice, and apple juice to a 16 oz bottle
Pour 14 ounces of Plain Kombucha into the rest of the bottle leaving a small amount of room (about 1 inch) at the top.
Cap your bottle and allow to ferment for 3-7 days.
Check it often (after day 2) by opening it to see if it is bubbly.
