This sprouting mix of Garbanzo, Mung Beans, Green Peas, and Adzuki is also one of the best-tasting mixes! This is a wonderful combination of protein-rich beans, this organic bean salad sprouting seed mix makes a tasty meal! Since these beans are consumed sprouted, it’s important to note that sprouting changes their nutritional composition. Sprouted beans contain fewer calories and more free amino acids and antioxidants than un-sprouted ones. Mung beans contain many healthy antioxidants, including phenolic acids, flavonoids, caffeic acid, cinnamic acid, and more. Organic Mung Sprouting Seeds: Vigna radiata, simply known as mungbean, is also known throughout the world by a variety of names including "gram", "maash", and "moong". Domesticated to much of eastern Asia and the Indian subcontinent, the mung bean is a traditional staple used as both a sweet and savory component to entrées and desserts in Chinese, Filipino, and Indian cuisines. Organic mung bean seeds mature into a legume cover crop that makes an ideal seasonal cover crop and companion plant known to replenish depleted soils of essential nitrogen and weed suppression, while also being popularly mowed down and tilled back into the soil as an organic and all-natural "green manure" to supplement spring soils ready for sowing.

The garbanzo bean is widely sown as a culinary staple throughout much of Asia, with nearly 70% of the world's production coming from India. Recently, the garbanzo bean has made a resurgence as a viable nitrogen-fixing cover crop able to be sown as a beneficial companion plant or tilled back into the soil as an all-natural organic green mulch.

Green Peas: Pisum sativum is rich in protein-fortifying amino acids and carbohydrates and, even just a half-cup serving, provides nearly 50% of daily recommended values of several essential vitamins. Green pea is widely accepted as one of the earliest domesticated crops, but mostly cultivated for livestock fodder only until 2,000 years ago

Adzuki:Vigna angularis, more commonly known as adzuki bean or red mung bean, is an international sensation that has been cultivated in Asia for millenia along with the mung and soybean. Adzuki is already a nutrient-dense bean essential to many diets but, when sprouted, increases nutrient content, especially in fiber, by as much as 300%. Adzuki is often boiled, sweetened, and mashed into a red mung bean paste, often serving as the base for additional flavoring for numerous dishes in both Chinese and Japanese cuisines.
