I have joined with Chef Mike Hursey to host a dinner complete with cultured foods at his beautiful Casa Somerset Bed & Breakfast Villa. This event is going to be so fun, I have decided to tape it and put it online for others to enjoy. His place is so beautiful it took my breath away. Complete with vineyards and a herb garden and ponds. It has beautiful views and fountains and the feel of a real Italian Villa.
I have added some gluten free pasta with my fermented tomato sauce to the menu because some who are coming who have asked for this option. Almost all the other side dishes are gluten free so everybody can enjoy this fun night.
I will teach you have to make a few of the items on the menu and you will get to take home the recipes from the meal.
We will feast on Roasted butternut squash lasagna made by master Chef Mike. I will be serving a salad complete with a probiotic dressing. A Tuscan appetizer made with vegetables and kefir. We will have gnocchi with a fermented pasta sauce and some kefir soda with kefir ice cream for desert.
I an so excited to have dinner with friends and share the ways that I make these foods. Come join the fun.
